[Solved]No option to research Craft Bench III

So, i have researched everything visually available but cant research or build the third smithing bench.
I have a steel refinary, Craft bench II, research bench II, loom, stone/ore mine etc.
As a side note i also cant construct any of the circular outposts. any ideas?

I think, that you have to upgrade your craft bench 2. Just activate it, and click the button

I did think that may be the case but i have no option when right clicking on it to upgrade it. I tired building a seperate tier II bench to upgrade also incase of random bug, yet to no avail.

You'll want to research Tier 3, build a tier 3 research bench, research tier 4, etc. In order to research the next level you'll have to have a top tier research bench, the current maximum level bench is tier VI. As for the weapons smithing bench 3, you don't need a tier 3 bench until you get to some of the very highest tiers of weapons research. If your highest level research bench is tier 2 you've got a lot of research to do before you get there.

Yes, i thougt as much. However i have researched everything that is visible in all of the tabs. I researched steel bars after the recent update and built a steel refinery, other than this skill i have not seen any others in the tabs since finishishing the rest prior to the update.
I have tried to start a new game with all my buildings to see if anything else showed up but it remained the same.

This is on steam inacase that makes any kind of difference.

Scratch that, i was being an idiot. I just hadnt built the tier III research bench.
