I've been trying to get the most recent update for a couple weeks now, but the updater doesn't seem to be letting me. Every time I try, it downloads all 704 Mb of the update, and then immediately tells me it failed to download and aborts the installation. All previous updates have installed without a hitch. Any insight as to what's causing this?

Running Windows 7, if it matters.

EDIT: Here's the full message I get.
"The downloaded file "kenshi.all.to.0.42.2.wyu" failed the signature validation: Verification failed.

This error is likely caused by a download that ended prematurely. Total size of the downloaded file: 704.87 MB (739112628 bytes).

Computed SHA1 hash of the downloaded file: 7F-D5-E2-0C-3F-E9-CD-DF-9B-92-CF-32-AE-4C-39-2C-10-7B-50-C0"

This is going to be one of the most obvious questions : P
Did you run it as admin?

Yep! No luck, I'm afraid.

I encountered that once, but the next day when I ran it it worked out alright. Is the Wyupdate cleared to pass through your firewall? Are you in a place with some draconian LAN restrictions? Did you purchase the game from the site? If you did you might try feeding your key into Steam and downloading the latest version through Steam, I believe Steam accepts Desura keys as well but don't hold me to that one. While that won't directly solve the issue if it works, it works. You could then transfer over your quicksave folder from the old Kenshi directory and continue playing the game with the latest update.

Since you haven't posted again I presume it has been fixed; it's convenient for the mods if you'd do the following:

We would like to ask you that when you have posted a Bug Report and the bug has been fixed in a new release/update that you mark it as fixed by placing [FIXED] in the thread title (this can be done by pressing the edit button on the first post). That way it's easier for Moderators to see which threads can be locked, and for Chris to see which bugs are still awaiting his attention. This will increase the efficiency of the bug-hunting and fixing process.
