Add some stories to the game like for the holy sword make it so that if the player wants he/she can try to figure out why some factions hate him/her add little tidbits that a player can follow if the want and can possibly get better gear from ect

If you mean like why does the holy empire hate you when you do the holy sword start?
if you read the start story thats already there.
You looted their greatest sword, wouldnt you be pissed at the person who stole your awsome weapon. Hell i would kill everyone i suspected until i found it again so i think that justifies them hating you.

Chris did say that he would add more story and quests to the game, he just needs to get the core parts of the game done first. Think of it like a tree, he needs to grow the trunk and the branches to support the leaves flowers and fruit.

But ya i see where your coming from, having special quests that are exclusive to the type of start story you chose. That would be nice to have indeed.
Do you have ideas on what sort of quests and such, Chris would probably use ideas he liked.

wouldnt that be the same as anything with a religious branding to it?

its just a normal sword with a Brand name. Thats all religion is.

I know it's not the same thing, but it sounds like it'd be pretty fun to be able to read a "criminal record" of your character/faction according to another faction. It'd be cool if your list of offenses got put onto a wanted poster too, as I imagine your wanted posters would end up having to be pretty long.

And of course, my list would probably be ended with "lollygagging" and/or "raising an army of Nekuman and using them to decimate the economy of the Holy Empire and Dead Cat and smuggling pilfered goods from both to separatist bands of Nekuman and Kumalites" (catgirls and bear people). One can dream...

It kinda sits in with achievements but its still a damn good idea
i added hours of gameplay to games that had stuff like this
