No news in weeks ?
Yes, because that attitude has helped the human race SOOOO much. We are fat, lazy, entitled beings who strip the land bare in our pursuit of what we want. Those who are not like that cannot be, lacking the resources or means to do so. Give it another century, and none of this will matter, as even the roaches will be dying off. We won't get a "Fallout" type future, more like Terminator without John Conner...

Do we really have to endure a round of "MoAR UPDATEZ, Like JUSE a FEW lineS of TExT mAN." every single time an update is scheduled.
Yes I would like it if chris decided to work more than 15 minutes a day and made this game quicker. But I enjoy my vaporware experience. Let's just sit down, whip out that search function and enjoy how many other times people have wasted their time asking for more updates on this forum. Updates will come when they come and more whining won't make things any faster.
Hell, if I were chris I'd take a single day holiday every time a new thread like this were started.

I for one love big updates. I hate it when developers release small non-factor patches where i can play with new stuff for exactly 3 seconds. Chris is giving me patches that i can have fun with for more than those 3 seconds.
And why do people need a stupid line of raither pointless text when they can know what is happening by just reading the front page?

Doesn t bother me the no news for a while, as there was not concrete time given to wait for update, and idk if you read what was to come in with it, tho i guess you might have a bit in mind the same i do, that Chrs might had change mind to add some more stuff into the update xD, tho i don t think would be walls, females maybe but i see rather more probabol armour crafting.
If you want to see real trouble because of anything then... steam forums in a nutshell, i wonder how Hatsune been handling as i guess she been so long there now.

yea. it might help if some of the Mods here did a bit of work on the Kenshi Steam Forums as well, since they seem to be more colorful and umm nit picking.

Oh quite colourful indeed. But they should be using their brain instead of inventing new things for their "colourful language" to raise their IQ.

Hello again! It's been a while since you last saw me here. Nowadays I'm usually just lurking the off-topic and doing sacrificial rituals in the name of beedorum.
Didn't want to make a new thread because I don't know if this has already been talked about and this topic sounded like this would fit in here...
What do you think about the new announcement about the new people hired to work for Kenshi? For me it sounds like the development has gone to the brand new, more professional level and we will get bigger updates more often. I think that now Chris can focus on "more important" stuff like adding contents after other people take more responsibility about the "looks."
Future of the game seems very bright
Also, what do you know about the people he has hired? I think Kole Hicks doesn't have a beard. Can we trust him?
PS. It's 30+ Celsius degrees here and I'm dying of dehydration !!!!

It was definitely a good idea for Chris to hire more people, less stress and the workload can be distributed better.Santaissick said: What do you think about the new announcement about the new people hired to work for Kenshi? Hmmm......he must be put to the TEST! If he passes then he shall receive the title of "Honorary Bearded", which includes bragging rights and a seat at the round table. (Real beard not included). But I must warn you, failure of the test can lead to something worse than being beardless. I speak of the dreaded pencil mustache. Would you trust this guy? I sure the hell wouldn't.Also, what do you know about the people he has hired? I think Kole Hicks doesn't have a beard. Can we trust him?

I see your point, well played sir.Clawdius Talonious wrote:So you'd never opt for instant gratification over waiting? So, if I asked you if you wanted a cold beer, you'd expect to have to wait until it snows? I think perhaps you're conflating the existence of a desire, with some puerile response if that desire is not fulfilled. I'd like a cold beer, and while I'd like it now, I haven't even bottled them yet.Mattk50 wrote:Speak for your apparently very impatient part of humanity, bub.Clawdius Talonious wrote:One of the defining characteristics of humanity is wanting what we want when we want it, and even if they can stand waiting, people typically prefer instant gratification.

Indeed, and after a few weeks of conditioning my beer will be ready to go. Alas in lieu of the patience to wait a few more weeks, I capitulated to my base desires and acquired store bought libations to slake my thirst.Mattk50 wrote:I see your point, well played sir.
