Feature request: formations

Im sure we've all been in the situation at least once where we've been walking across the desert so our slowest person can keep up, the entire group just a massive cluster all walking shoulder to shoulder. I think it would truly benefit the game if there was a formation option so that you could assign them to move in relation to one another while walking. If you've ever played Icewind dale or Baudlers gate you know what Im talking about; a simple, party slot based formation system so you can have you strong guys in front and the weak ones in the back, away from the damage when the fight starts.

I know this is not a pressing feature that the game requires to be great, but I as I stated earlier, I think its something the game would benefit from later down the line.
