Finally found the perfect animal for Kenshi.
Im sure that you know Gothic series. There were large firebreathing reptiles, Varans. Howerver, they are based on real reptiles - large and not firebreathing.
They are rather strong, so they will be useful as van-pulling animals in caravans. They are mammals, so they can eat same food that people eat. They are able to survive in deserts.
That means that if they will be added in game, they will not ruin lore and atmosphere and they will be perfect addition into gameplay.

And in fallout there were geccos.

Some kind of large, basking lizard would be awesome as a beast of burden, as long as it fitted with the developers' ideas. Their eggs might be worth something, too, if they laid eggs.
We could scramble the eggs, or make French toast with them.
Plus, implementing animals opens up the possibility for animal breeding/animal trading. So you can have teh Pokemanz in ur Kenshi.

And id like to have one of them as companion. Intelligent lizard. Who can talk. Because i really miss somebody like Goris, and id like to have such companion again.



By the way, their skin might be used to make leather for high grade leather clothes. Something higher than standard grade. Their bones should be tough, so they might be used as materials for low-grade light swords. Futhermore, their claws and teeth should be used to make arrows for bows/crossbows.
And their bites should be poisonous, so if somebody was attacked and bit, he can be poisond and will require treatment with special medicines - one more reason to develop new medical items.
