Am I down to having to use Steam, or is the download on Desura just mislabeled as 50.0?

Doesn't seem to be up for me either with just the built in updater. Perhaps he needs more time or is wasting for the game crushing bugs to be ironed out?

So I have downloaded the 50.0 file from one of the mirrors. It updates to 50.3. I run the updater at the bottom of the file list and it says I have the most up to date version. I load the game and it just keeps running 50.3. What am I doing wrong?

I'd like to know too, I've been really excited for the female characters, but I just don't know how to update.

Random thought, if I import with buildings do my containers keep their stuff or should I sell before the update?

Im having the same problem.. the updater says im upto date and wont download the new version... any ideas ??

I uninstalled tha game, then re-downloaded the game 0.50.0 from the lofigames site, ran the updater...

aand.. it finds 0.50.3 to be the latest patch <.<

This is happening again with the latest update. The updater from the Desura/non-Steam version is not picking up the 0.58.4 version, despite it having been released over a day ago.

Also, perhaps of note, even with the latest version from steam, the save game file still says .580 not, .584 I'm not really sure how to see the actual version number, but i do have females as an option
