engineer skill mod?

Hi! I have a question. Can the stats influence be changed by some not too complicated way? As i admit, in different updates the construction speed was very a lot. And i need to make a super-swift engineers for my mod task. I can change all the numbers in lines "construction time", but its not exactly what i want. So, if anyone could help, I'll be very appreciated.

from what I can see u will need to alter character stats in the cs. Basically, change the starting engineer # amount to something higher than 0. However this will only work if you are starting a new game. As far as making things build faster is concerned this is the only way 'I' have found.

If you would like I could do up a little start up mod that has engineer and labour stats maxed. would only take me about 5 minutes

There's actually a much simpler way of doing it: The first global constant under the header GAME SPEEDS (sic) is called build speed and has a default of 1. I'm not sure if that's build rate, as in units per measurement of time (in which case raising it would increase the speed of building) or if it is a multiplier to the total effort needed to build things (in which case lowering it would increase the speed of building) but it wouldn't take too long to test. The name of the constant seems to indicate the first option is more likely, for what it's worth.
