look at the profile pictures of each one.
all i did to recreate this is play in windowed mode, then click outside the window then back in.
it will change the characters portrait each time in what ever task or body movement they are currently doing at that time.

Looks like the same thing I found back in 0.61, just another way to make the portrait snapshots perform an update.

When I put my guys in a bed they like to sleep upside down on one side of the bed. But when they are done sleeping usualy they would stand next to the bed letting you know they are done and ready to go back to work. Now they lay in the bed right to tell you they are done sleeping.

Only started after the walls update for me.

Gameplay/visual I guess? My character got stuck inside the stone processor and won't come out. I've tried reloading. he's been stuck in there a few days now. I'm thinking it has something to do with not enough female recruits.

Or maybe someone put him inside the processor when I wasn't looking. Anyway to kill him off?

Deconstruct the Stone Processor and see if that resolves your issue.
Doesn't sound graphical in nature, though. More pathfinding related.

The day/night cycle is not progressing constantly. Rather the sun seems to stand still and then make a jump every couple of seconds. These jumps are kind of smooth (not a teleport), so I wonder why the sun's not moving smoothly and constantly in the first place.

The sun doesn't move, but then it moves?

If character loots crafting bench(any), and then starts working on it without moving he doesn't stand up and plays working animation while sitting, and it's often (only visually) glitched.

This is the case when telling a char to work at any structure immediately next to them while they are crouching.

The best way to reproduce this is to have one char Medic a 2nd char while both of them are next to any structure, and then have the crouching char work the structure.

An easy workaround is to just force them to stand up before working.

Yes... that's basically what I wrote.
Instead of moving in a constant manner, the sun (respectively its light source) stands still and then moves and then stands still again.
You can tell it by the shadows (especially on dusk/dawn).
I wonder why you don't seem to know what I mean, because it's hard to imagine this being a system specific problem. You should see it, too, actually...

I see what you are talking about, it was just hard to interpret.

The sun appears to move at a smooth, constant rate through the sky, but the shadows are not moving in the same manner.

When one of the characters in my squad goes to sleep on one of the beds I placed in my town, he rotates 180 degrees gets onto the bed, and sleeps vertically. But when I pick up someone to put them on the bed, and place them, they stay horizontal and lay correctly on the bed. Nothing big, just alittle bothering.

When any character is knocked out in my save, their bodies kinda float up and then fall to the ground, and the physics animation is very laggy.

edit: as a side note, i can't seem to enable anti-aliasing. Is this a common problem?

Whenever that placed body wakes up, they will "Get Up" from the bugged position as well.

The stop-motion ragdoll physics that you see happening to unconscious bodies has a bug report from a few versions ago, since it was previously thought to be performance related, so it seems more appropriate here now. :)

Is there a way to correct it, like importing into a new game? It's been getting on my nerves, quite anticlimactic for the end of a fight :(

Also any idea about how to enable to anti-aliasing? I try forcing it through nvidia control panel and it still doesn't work, and i don't see any options for it in the launcher or in game.

edit: nevermind about AA, did a search and found the post saying it was disabled for now, sadly.

The only time I've noticeably seen the stop-motion ragdoll physics is when the CPU is under a moderate, or heavier, load.
This can be remedied in one of two ways:
  • Delete the /Kenshi/data/ folder and re-validate game files using Steam
Import Game to a new world (and ensure both of the population sliders are set to 1 or lower for maximum performance prior to the import)

Your video card switched off and the screen went black?
This sounds like your hardware is overheating and is likely not related to Kenshi.

When was the last time you opened the case of your computer and removed the dust and dirt?

While doing this, ensure you don't unplug anything, and please don't use water, soap, power vacuums, or anything that could damage the hardware, lest you wish to cause further damage to your machine.
I recommend using a straw to blow the dust out of the machine (or a can of compressed air) and a lint-free cloth to wipe any flat surfaces.

Assuming you will use common sense while doing these things, but I will say it anyways.
Make sure everything from the back of your machine is unplugged and touch your hand to any metallic part of the CASE (not hardware) to make sure you ground any static charge.

as PnzrNorm said, try cleaning out your computer, dust and lint and pet hair can really do a number on your computer if you don't clean it out least once a month to 3 months..

buttttt. i have had your issue before
your video card or monitor is about to die, most likely your video card. better get a spare or take it down to a computer repair shop to get a second opinion.
this is very serious issue with your computer for a bad video card could accidently fry your computer.
best bet is to get it looked at asap.
but clean out the inside first. computer techs hate working in computers that have not been cleaned out. ( i know for when i did repairs for others that was one of my pet peeves )
Do you believe the sexes should be equal?
Oh heavens no.
Then Men would become unmanageable

Current computer specs.
AMD FX-8150 - Eight Core, 3.60GHz
NVidia GTX 1050TI
24GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 MHz Ram
WD 1tb HD, 870 EVO 1TB SSD

I understand all right, but the beat is the only game where problems such as computer purchases 2 weeks ago maybe a defect from the video card manufacturer's part

I've tried both of what you listed here, and I'm still having major ragdoll physics lag. I've tried setting Kenshi to high priority in the task manager too. I don't really understand why this is happening as my CPU should be able to handle it (quad-core @ 4ghz). Other people seem to have no problems with the ragdoll physics, based on the few videos I've seen. If you have any other ideas for what i can try, please let me know.
