Not entirely sure what it is but a few updates ago I know that as soon as the stone processor ran out the NPC I assigned to manage it would run to the stone mine and get stone on his own, now I must manually select this NPC then select the stone mine in order for him to replenish the supply to the stone processor. Am I missing something? I've tried having him/her manage both with no change in behavior, also tried different NPCs etc.

EDIT: They will not get stone even if the stone mine is at max capacity.

Any help would be appreciated!

Some things that may cause this to happen:
  • There is a Permanent Job assigned that has higher priority than the Stone Processor (i.e. Medic)

The char assigned to the Stone Processor does not have enough inventory space to obtain any Stone

The Stone Processor Output is at max capacity, rather than the Input being empty (make sure you have Storage: Building Materials)

The Stone Mine is a level less than 9 (i.e. requires at least one char to work at the Stone Mine in order to produce Stone)

The Stone Mine is too far away from the Stone Processor for the char to recognize its existence

The Stone Mine and/or Stone Processor have suddenly come under the control of another Faction
Another thing to remember is whenever you assign a Permanent Job to a char, you don't need to also right-click on the structure to make the char work.
Right-click to issue Move Orders to get chars near their Jobs rather than clicking the structure itself (this is because a right-click on anything overrides every other Goal the char wants to accomplish, including Jobs and combat).

All these things aren't an issue for me, not sure what it is, also the game seems to get extremely laggy now, I use to have population sliders maxed and it would suffer from a bit of FPS loss, but nothing like it is now.

I went from this:

Does the character in question have a backpack? Do they have anything else in their inventory? I've noticed some peculiarity regarding inventory during jobs at times, especially for characters without a backpack.

I've had this bug. It happens often for me on stone processor IV (the one that requires 1 man to work on it).
Happens because when stone in processor ends worker doesn't stop working (even though he can't produce anything). Does not happen on other buildings, only on stone processors.
None of PnzrNorm points are applied in my case.
Character working does have empty large trader backpack. He just doesn't stop working to get more stone.

Regarding OP's lagging issue, you should Import Game and see if that resolves the issue.
If not, you will want to drop the population sliders down to 1x or lower, as they have been causing some lag issues in recent patches while playing save files that were created in older versions.

The character operating the processor has 2 Advanced Medkits and a Splint Kit, back pack is the large trader back pack which is empty.

Lowering the pop sliders from 2 to 1 helped with the lag issue but damn, I always enjoyed 50+ bandit raids on me, it was like a massive bee line into a meat grinder hahaha.

Also my operator is still derpin despite the increase in FPS.

There are mods available that increase bandit population and variety without using the population sliders.
I believe Hatsune_Neko made one and there is another out there.

i do
called Larger Group Combat V1.1 on Kenshi V0.67.2
But the larger ones will affect your game play and lower your FPS due to the shear amount of NPC's, this effect will stay with the game until it is more optimized and better able to handle large NPC groups.
With the NPC slider you can potentially have bandit groups in the range of about 300 to 400 bandits. and also have maybe 1 FPS if you go that high.
Do you believe the sexes should be equal?
Oh heavens no.
Then Men would become unmanageable

Current computer specs.
AMD FX-8150 - Eight Core, 3.60GHz
NVidia GTX 1050TI
24GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600 MHz Ram
WD 1tb HD, 870 EVO 1TB SSD
