Hey, first off I just want to say how much I love this game. I put 35 hours into my first play through and I'm excited for future versions. I wanted to let you guys know about some of the bugs I ran into, I didn't include a crash report bc none of these caused a crash.
*The port south SW gate is impassable.
*I accidentally moved some items in a merchants inventory and ended up with -3000 cats?
*Whenever I use the rescue command or pick up unconscious npcs, upon putting them down they shoot up hundreds of feet in the air, and stay there until they regain consciousness
*The mercenary base has no usable path to all the buildings, some of them are blocked off which resulted in my squad getting stuck in a wall
*While trying to find pathing through the desert, my squad will often get stuck in rocks or mountains unless I'm watching them 24/7, which is really tedious due to the pace of the game and size of the map
*If you build your settlement between 2 or more cities, the power generators can end up supplying one city while your crafting stations are in another and this is extremely difficult to figure out/ annoying
**This is not a bug just a suggestion for a quality of life improvement. It would be REALLY nice if you could click on the map to send squad members to different cities instead of having to send them only as far as you can move the camera and then keep coming back over and over. I think this change would lead to much smoother game play once you get to a certain stage of the game.
I hope this helps, keep up the good work!
List of Bugs from first play through
The negative money bug typically happens when you place an item over another item in the merchant's inventory.
The catapult stuff with putting down unconscious people is known, but slpretty funny. Lumi actually managed to figure out how to aim it to throw people right into his base's crossbow trap area.
Unfortunately the current map is not going to get anymore updates. Instead we will eventually get a completely new map with all the biomes, and an increased size.
Pathfinding will get updated in a few weeks, and should fix problems with gates, walls, and getting stuck.

Thanks for the quick replies and tips!
Oh and there are a couple things I forgot to mention before. I'm not sure if this is intended or not but higher level crafting stations can't craft lower level recipes. For example weapon smithy III can't craft the recipes from weapon smithy II so if you don't realize this and upgrade it early you suddenly can't craft anything until you build another bench.
The last bug is that my squad will sometimes get stuck in my own buildings. They seem to think that the doors are closed when they are in fact open. Re-closing and opening the doors fixes this but can be inconvenient during bandit raids. It sounds like this may be fixed by the pathfinding fixes though?
Good to know! I'm really excited to hear about the map and pathfinding changes and I'm going to have to try aiming people as well haha.Tolwrath wrote:The negative money bug typically happens when you place an item over another item in the merchant's inventory.

and ill play the mean wicked witch this time.
Thank you for the detailed list but we do prefer you make separate reports or find other posts that already have it and update them. this is so they can be easily found and see how many people are being affected by that bug.
your topic title "List of Bugs from first play through" doesn't tell us what bug it is your reporting or even the version of the game and will get easily lost in the clutter of the forums. which makes the report not that helpful.
for the future, please read Reporting a crash or bug
Thank you
Evil Kittah finished.
