Lokum? As in.. Turkish delight? xDTolwrath wrote:Do any of these have names yet? This one's a kinda cool spined wolf / bear. My name vote is "Lokum" from combining lupus, wolf, and kuma.
Maybe there's some pig in there too. Half Wolf / half bearpig.
Che la morte non sia crudele, requiescat in pace.
That's a shame about the Turkish Delight... I really liked Lokum
But that reminds me, our new member Rob2112 may be starting a couple of competitions on Facebook to help name some of the beasts soon...

Love the tar sands concept art. Kenshi as it stands now has a very unique desert-esque vibe to it, for which the rolling dunes and crazy mountain sceneries contribute to that experience.
The Tar Sands concept art appears like an obvious departure from the aforementioned theme, something that, to me at least, seems to have first started with the new Swamplands biome, which for me is a nice change. At first i was sceptical, having grown accustomed to the desert vibe, but changing up the biomes the more that i think about it, would be amazing.
I've only got 2 Qs:
1) The Tar Sands biome, is it inspired by the shenanigans them greedy Albertans have been up to?
and
2) The Tar Sands concept art depicts night time or day time?

We need some tough people living in those tar sands. Tougher than Samurais perhaps !
Tels que la haute mer contre les durs rivages, à la grande tuerie ils se sont tous rués, ivres et haletants, en d'épais tourbillons pleins de clameurs sauvages.
Glad you approve Mr McDerp!McDerp wrote:Love the tar sands concept art. Kenshi as it stands now has a very unique desert-esque vibe to it, for which the rolling dunes and crazy mountain sceneries contribute to that experience.

Hmm, I dunno whether that image represents day or night time actually. Would make sense that there wouldn't really be a noticeable change though I guess... ya know, because of pollution and stuffs...
And yeah, I expect it will have hella loads of badass enemies and giant beasts terrorizing the place too
Ok! Here's another new beastie to come...

I can't wait to be eaten by that thing. Cannibals take care of the scraps.

Another new biome to come - the Savannah.
Lots more green foliage as a contrast to bare desert

Dat neck-chin...
I assume George Lucas was the inspiration for that creature. No I don't mean one of his creations, I mean George Lucas himself.
I also notice a distinct lack of catgirls in these screenshots. (Seriously, if you're bored, type Nekuman into the forum search).
