I am unable to consistently construct Mark V walls. After laying the foundations for a bunch of walls, I began building them. The workers were unable to even start adding building materials to most of the units. they would be standing on top of the wireframe placeholder and just come to a stop, seemingly unable to find a specific point to begin work. Suggest this be fixed by making a more lenient construction model, maybe based on proximity rather than a specific point.

This is probably a common issue as I also had the same issue and ended up having to reload a save previous to when I began building the Mark V walls.

i have the same issue. With walls IV the problem was fixed by placing the engeneer in the very middle of the wall fundation, with walls V there's no way i can build them.

Also in my opinion Walls V are exagerated, the gate is the biggest building in the game, far bigger than outpost 4 and even taller than wind generators. Walls themselver are exagerated too.

Building defensive wall V is causing the game to crash every time. Anyone else having this problem?

Scratch that, it's happening with all walls I try to attach to a gate. Doesn't create a crash dump either.

Yeah, this update [0.69.0exp] made the wall situation much, much worse. It's crashing every time I attempt to place even a mark 1 defensive wall.

I got one good crash dump file out of the mess.

merged topics ,
also i was playing around with this as well. nice job on the mini walls Chris.
but once i hit spacebar to confirm the building of new walls, the game crashed
no crashdump was generated thou.
and it did the "must place inside building" text popup.

and on another note with walls. the "delete all" walls segment creates massive game lag after its finished. had to rebuild the navmesh, which took 3 times as long as normal, but it did clear up the game lag afterwards. and ramps are inaccessible to be dismantled still as well.

I also had this problem and I noticed that it only crashes when I'm placing the walls on the right side off the gate(from behind) I have no problems placing walls in any other case...Just when placed on the right side of the gate and just as Neko no crashdump just said Kenshi-Steam.exe has stopped working...

all this is for type V walls never tried any lower guess I should go do that now...

Update: No problems with defensive walls IV at all, can place the walls on the right side of the gate but as soon as I try the defensive wall V it crashes as soon as I confirm building walls on the right side of the gate.

update 2: So I tried mixing some walls... Making a gate V and placing a wall IV on the right side of the gate worked no problems there but when I made a gate IV and placed a defensive wall V on the right side it crashed just as it did with the Gate V wall V so the problem is in placeing a defensive wall V on the right side of any gate. Can somebody confirm this for me? <-- This doesn't work for me anymore

decided to post some screenshots aswell :/

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =273697677
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =273697692 <-- after this the screen turns black and I get a message Kenshi.exe has stopped working.

hopefully this is my last update... I don't get the message "Kenshi.exe has stopped working" anymore, instead i get this crashdump everytime I try to place any wall on the right side of any gate.... I hope this helps and that you can read my sloppy writing...
