Finally, after some messages, quite some time and personal involvement..
NexusMods now supports Kenshi.

The forum only allows you to upload files up to 2mb. Files >2mb could now be uploaded to the Nexus as a central place (of course it is not a must). You can easily edit descriptions, permissions, files.. also you have some nice statistics. :P

Personally I will upload all my mods to the forum and the Nexus if possible. The only disadvantage is that you need an account, which is actually totally worth it.

But now the most important part:

Nifty work, Butta. Image

A game with a strong foundation for modding like Kenshi needs a good place to dump mods. It's hard to do better than Nexus.

I can't wait til there's tons of mods for Kenshi. D:

But i doubt modders will be interested in making mods while the game is in alpha.

Good job! :geek:

Nexus is the place to go for most gaming mods, I'm sure most people here knows it, having it supporting Kenshi will surely speed things up when the modding machine for Kenshi awakes.

Erm.. I think you may be a little confused.. the only restriction on that site is that you have to register an account to download files over 2mb I think it was, you don't have to pay anything.. you don't have to use "premium servers" for any file and I've downloaded alot of stuff from there over the years, mostly skyrim.

I can't download any mods from the Kenshi Nexus. Nothing happens.

If I go to the Skyrim Nexus, they download fine.

first, we need someone skilled enough to code a proper export/import for the rigged files, so far we can't do a damn thing with the armor files, I got as far as getting the rig to successfully get exported, but when reimporting it back to .mesh file, the bones becomes deformed/destroyed.

Yep... mods in Workshop.

I would say I might not make mods yet (no graphical one due to my lack of skills in modeling), not until the stats have enough functions.

Everyone please consider putting mods on Nexus instead of Steam Workshop because Kenshi is being sold on platforms other than Steam, and Steam Workshop is set to be Steam Exclusive by default.

+1

I can't abide Steam, anything related to DRM, or "exclusivity" regarding mods at the workshop. I actually wouldn't have known about Kenshi in the first place, if I hadn't seen it at GOG, which is where I purchase all my games. Also pleasing to see mods available via Nexus, so hopefully more will appear there as it's always been my go-to place for my modding requirements.

I want to say that there has been a big influx of mods on the Kenshi nexus over the past few months, with the sum total exceeding 300 mods :D
