Simply put. Would be nice to have a feature in the unit generator to toggle the visibility of the hat. THis is not a request to toggle it in actual gameplay, but only during character creation (since some starts start you with a hat), and when speaking to a surgeon. Sucks having to spend an extra 200 at the start of the game because you couldn't choose the hairstyle you wanted due to it being covered by a hat, or forgetting to take the hat off when talking to a surgeon. Or even hiring those 5500 units that start with a strawhat...

Please for the love of god do not poke in and suggest a toggle for visibility during actual gameplay (because i'm sure people would like that). That is not what this post is for.

This is indeed a must have, but rather than that.. I think characters shouldn't have anything on during any character customization screen, as you're also editing the body type.

But I don't think Chris would work on that right now, he has his hands full with fixing crashes, bugs, getting the last build stable and such.

Maybe he could add the feature when working on the new GUI. ^^

Yes, i'm aware of the "more important things to work on right now", but the wonderful thing about suggestions, is that they can be made at any point without any necessity or priority. At least this thread will be here when a time comes that it could be implemented :)
