Will they be the same size as a normal person in the game, or are they going to be some giant monster?

If they are normal size, and can be carried away, would it than be possible to enslave them to make you own hivemen for your faction?

Or can they be sold to slavers or ransomed back to the hive?

Also, will all hives be their own faction, or will there be infighting?

Could another possibility could be that Swarms of hivemen attack constantly in an effort to rescue the queen if the hivequeen is not treated with care (in regards to ransoming her) for example if shes held in one place for too long she can communicate for a rescue so keeping her on the move would prevent her knowing where exactly she is so cant call for a rescue? just an idea but the prospect of kidnaping a hive quren sounds pretty cool.

I may really be running off on a tangent here, but if the hive queens are so large as to be immobile, and if, say, some mad scientist were so inclined as to.. oh.. order his men to escort him through their horde to the queen's chambers, then seal themselves inside while he outfits the queen with robotic spider-walker legs to create a roving hive army in the territory of a nation he didn't care for..

...what was my question again?

In the very least I'm certain you can build a cage near your base to imprison her in provided her followers aren't smart enough to release her. From there the horde will guard your base, well provided you keep your distance. Kind of like catching a bandit boss.
