I originally tried importing my game from 0.69.2, but my game would crash every time I tried to import my buildings. If I didn't import my buildings, then the game would import just fine, but with huge performance problems (not even getting 30 fps). I should be able to get 60+ fps with my i5 4690k overclocked to 4.6 GHz and my GTX 970. On top of that, when I went to Brink, there were no NPCs and I was getting a constant loading pop up and was getting 4-8 fps.
I started a new game thinking that my imported game was the problem. making a new game alleviated the problems on no NPCs in Brink and having the constant loading pop up making the game run 4-8 fps, but I still don't get above 30 fps.
I have hardware monitoring software up on my 2nd monitor and it says I'm not using anymore that 50% of my 1st CPU core and maybe 20% of my GPU. Guess it's back to 0.69.2 for the time being. A save can be provided upon request if needed.
Sidenote: I'm also getting a lot of AI pathing issues. I can't get to most of the buildings inside of Brink.

there seems to be an issue around Brink causing massive FPS drop.
We dont know why yet.
best thing to do is to avoid brink for now untill this is fixed.

For the brink issue I've found that simply saving your game when the loading issue near brink happens, and then just quickly reloading will fix the issue for the time.(you can even leave brink without it doing the loading issue again)
For the AI pathing issues I normally just hit ctrl+shift+f11. This normally solves the issue for me. I do it a lot when I can't get into my own buildings or if the AI can let my people get to their jobs. Hope it helps you too!

it rebuilds the navigation Mesh.
its a tool used to force a pathing update and sometimes fixes odd AI pathing behavior.

Alright, I'll try that and report back.
Edit: I've imported my game again and it seems to be running better. As in more than 30 fps most of the time. I'm just having a lot of trouble with my guys not using the automatic machines. My one guy won't take stone from the mine and put it into the processor which is also automatic. I have to tell them every time they go to make a load. The same thing happens with my ore mine and refinery. I have the permanent jobs set up for them as well. It seems like anything that is set up to do more than 1 permanent job ends up breaking and they just stop working.

Try doing the ctrl+shift+f11 thing I mentioned above. Do it like this.
Save game.
Press ctrl+shift+f11
Save game again after it finishes.
Exit game.
Start game
Continue or load.
Hope this helps your job issues

Upon further investigation, it seems this could be an inventory problem. My units who were making Rum would not make more until their inventory was empty, but they would not put the finished product into the rum storage barrels. It seems to be the same way with the stone processor issue. The unit will not put the finished product into the storage after a while.

How do I know when it's done? The Loading... pop up just stays there for hours.StarSkull wrote:Try doing the ctrl+shift+f11 thing I mentioned above. Do it like this.

It shouldn't take so long. I made a quick video to show you that it shouldnt take a long time. It did crash on me twice when trying it on my lonewolf save...I don't know why though.

you're using the 69.2 versionStarSkull wrote:It shouldn't take so long. I made a quick video to show you that it shouldnt take a long time. It did crash on me twice when trying it on my lonewolf save...I don't know why though.

it uses the 32bit pathing AI and is a lot slower rebuilding the pathing. usually 30 seconds to 90 seconds depending on the machine.

I HIGHLY recommend that anyone assigned to a machine be equipped with a large trader's backpack, and that they be carrying nothing in it so they have full use of the room inside it. It helps considerably. Also make sure these people aren't assigned tasks like engineering. They might go grab building materials but once the job is done they will never put the unused materials back. The materials suddenly stop them from loading/emptying their machines.Re3st1mat3d wrote:Upon further investigation, it seems this could be an inventory problem.
