0.91.9 some workers dont take food/bring it back

Some of my workers dont take food from the bread basket or the Food store. My town produces bread and Dustwich. And if I give food to them by myself, they take it all back to the basket/store before they to go to work again.

For me it is totally random which workers are doing this. Now it is my worker who is operating the rum still and the one who is operating the hybrid stone mine.

In former versions when eating had to be done manually I had the same problem with my worker who operates the Iron Refinery and my weapon smith, for example.

Are your workers working really far away from the food storage or bread basket? I noticed that my workers who're still in the outpost but working on the border mining will never go to eat food until they are within a certain radius of the food storage/bread basket.

If that's the problem I fixed it by having my major storage next to my food storage so when they go to deliver they will immediately head to eat and then do their assigned job.

I will try this, thanks. But it is still confusing because some workers who do their stuff quite far away from the bread basket dont ignore the food and others who are not so far away ignore it. But I will try.

I have the same issue:

Workers not eating.
Workers taking their food from their packs and putting it in barrell.

I even had a worker who was set at a station making weapons run to the food barrel and dump his food then stand next to the bread barrell until he died of hunger without eating.

Having the same issue with the bread basket. I also had some food stored in a shop counter and the guys would go stand in front of it and stare at it until they starved to death.
