An addition that would work well with my other idea for the Evil Joinable Faction, The Nocturi, but would work well on its' own too.
As a prominent member of the Holy Nation, you never questioned the divine scriptures of your culture. . Until one day you were visited by a dark messenger with a truth that would shake the foundations of your religion. Setting off into the wilds, you know what you must do. . Kill them all.

I would recommend first making the start yourself with FCS. In time you'll balance it, but also as you share ideas they may be implemented in another way, too.
I've made a pile of starts, some intentionally overpowered, and one thing I've learned is that balance for a game start takes some fine-tuning. I'm finding the new homeless guy with a puppy start quite challenging so far, for example. It's possible that some players may cringe back from the challenge, but there are ways around it. That's where the fine-tuning comes in handy. You need to find out where players like me will figure out how to make that character work very well in spite of the challenges you see associated with it.
My homeless guy is currently sitting in prison waiting for release, hunger taken care of, and he's improved his stats quite a bit already.
Toughness: 16
Melee Def.: 10
Stealth: 22
Thieving: 15
When he gets released he'll likely have a much easier time finding food, and meanwhile the puppy is growing.

My first advice on this build would be to eliminate the cats. They're easy enough to make, especially with such a formidable character. The story could go that this character was pursued as a heretic and had to beat a hasty retreat.
I miss the old Holy Sword start.

I've actually made this in the Construction Kit and find it to be one of the more fun types to play! It's great to be an outright bad guy and to grow a 'Dark Army' to take out the Holy Nation. I just wish that there were Quests and such to make this much more immersive and such.
My other Feature addition, The Nocturi, would make this player-type sooooo much more exciting, as you'd find a home in the Unholy bastions of evil do-ers and such. Gah, I just want it all to be inserted so I can start as a lowly demon and become freaking Sauron. xD
