Choose which weapon to attack with

Right now, the characters can be equipped with 3 swords max at a time. It would be nice if we could choose which one to use when, maybe by being able to select your preferred weapon of choice beforehand in the inventory screen when attacking automatically, and have an option to choose which weapon to use when clicking an NPC when attacking manually.

It would justify you being able to equip 3 weapons, since dual wielding is not an option (yet, at least).

Also, once unarmed gets added (if it does, hopefully it does), you could attack with your bare fists, even if you were equipped with weapons. The choice would be yours.

This, totally. It can break immersion and function as an unnecessary handicap to carry a backpack just so you have the option to choose which sword gets used.

Sometimes I'd like to use a slim katana, sometimes a plank or a nodachi. I think it could make sense to just put a checkbox next to the weapon slots on the inventory screen. We could perhaps go without two for the primary slot, but at the same time, maybe if a second weapon is equipped a second checkbox could appear?
