Mapping - Pieces OR Whole Deal?

The Entire map developed and given all at once, likely taking a bit more time.

Sections of the map being given like pieces of the puzzle, taking less time, but not giving the full picture.

What would you guys prefer to have?

Personally, I'd prefer to have just sections come out every week or two. . Or however long it takes. I'd like more atmosphere than the current Swampy/Alien feel to the Terrain we're in currently in this map.

Do you believe the sexes should be equal?

Good point ^_^

Is there any section you'd like to see most?

Personally, I think it'd be cool if we got a return back to the Sandy Dunes of the last map section back with more HDR and such. Cannibals and all that business is too cool.

I'd go with an Ashen Volcano-y place too though. ^^

I'm making some assumptions about what's planned up there, but I'm very interested in the coastline north of the current map. Seems that's the Empire's territory, and I'd be curious to see how they play off the Holy Nation. Also it would be good to have another major faction's cities and towns to visit.

That area seems to catch my interest the most when I wonder about the map. Next behind that would be south of the current map, but for less reason.

I'm new to Kenshi, but I have over a hundred hours into the 74.32 version. I'm still playing that, and having a blast. I've watched a few playthroughs of the new map, and I'm not really sure why it even exists. The sandy/desert biome had nothing wrong with it, that I can see.

The direction I would like to have seen LoFi take would have been to polish the heck out of 74.32 until it was suitable for Beta. Continue working on that until the dynamics were stable and immersive. Meanwhile, begin work on additional map/biome additions and ADD them into an experimental build until the release-version map is complete and polished. Limit the map to the expected biomes (sub-tropical, tropical, coastal, mountainous, etc.). Release the game at something like AA or even AAA prices.

That should make available to the developer enough assets to license something like the Cry Engine. Dedicate a small team to making DLC for Kenshi, and staff up to begin development of Kenshi 2.

/sarcasm-humor

At this point, EA or Origin or Bethesda throw major money at Chris and LoFi is taken over. After that, Kenshi 2 gets turned into something that nobody here will recognize. There will be iOS and Android apps. There will be licensed graphic novels (comic books :P ). Kenshi 2 will be turned into a PS4 game and released as an afterthought as an absolutely awful PC port. It will then be a FPS/Action mess that looks and plays just like all the other games out there.

Hopefully, I'll be dead by then...
