Has anyone seen where to buy backpacks/bags I can't seem to find a vender that sells them. My group consists of 30 skeletons and yes they are my trade federation Droid Army... ps how the heck do you even make repair kits for them????
Anyways if anyone tells me the holy nation guys are the only ones that sell backpacks then i have to go rape the holy nation town and loot the trader there.

I think backpack trader can be found in Mongrel, should be the store with a traveler pic on a shop sign. And repair kits are research-able. Somewhere at lvl3-4.
Best options I have found for making repair kits is to buy the robotic components as they are only around 2k. then you can use electrical components to make the repair kits. Much cheaper then buying them.
And Yes Mongrel is the only not HN town that I know of that currently has the backpacks.
Currently there seems to be a bug with the fog in the fog islands. It's near impossible to get there and find a building until they fix it.

well if anyone knows what I can do to see in the fog in mongrel please let me know I can't bloody see where I am going to find the shops.... at least my army of robots don't need to eat....
*EDIT* I found the backpack vender but not sure which of the new backpacks would hold the most stuff. Is it still the trader backpack or another one?

It depends. Those huge backpacks should still have largest inventory available for non-stackable items. Traders pack is suitable for stackable items like iron plates, building mats, etc. etc. So if you need a lot of weapons transported - go for medium, large and scavengers backpacks, but if it's some resources - then traders is a way to go.gorathtar wrote:... Mongrel is broken right now. Friends don't let friends go to Mongrel.
I have a character with run speed at 25 and I took him to Mongrel to purchase katanas. I don't even bother anymore. The Hub is a good alternative, but it's just too much of a pain in the ass to do anything in Mongrel. Too much risk for only frustration.

The only risk at least for me personally is the frustration of finding the right building and shop owner to go to. the fog men are at least for me a joke. I like loading my guys up with repair kits in this case and setting game speed to max and letting them get beat to an inch of their lives over and over and over again. right now they are basically an army of droid that rape the fogmen. I just kind of wish I could watch the fighting sometimes when in the fog.
My method of boosting athletics and strength is to load them and have them run from one end of the map to the other. with the trader backpacks I have now this is so much easier. filled the bags and the inventories with copper and have had them run length wise across the map. did that about 15 times now.
This buffs their strength and as their strength goes up their encumbrance goes down and the rate at which they gain athletic xp goes up.
On a side note having them fight when fully overloaded might seem dumb but they become so much stronger for it.
