Howdy! Heard about the game a while ago, demo wasn't available back then, finally checked things again, got it installing right now, checking out the forums in the meantime.

Greetings and Salutations :)

I love the concept you're going for and i've endorsed the game in my Steam group with a link to the Kenshi website which i hope brings you a few more customers.

You talk the talk. Can you walk the walk?
Time will tell and i wish you the best of luck because you got a big job on you're hands, you just maybe be the next Richard Garriot if you get it right ;)

hi, i'm bee salesman. i am pretty much love *CENSORED*. i think chris should implement *CENSORED* as soon as possible into the game and it would open it up to a new market. there's *CENSORED* in zelda and that's real popular. (well they're hornets, but i like them too. but they're not as cool as *CENSORED*)
there's lots of beekeepers and honey manufacturers out there that feel unrepresented in games. mayBEE this could BEE rectified by the inclusion of *CENSORED* in kenshi.

yours sincereBEE,

bee salesman.

If farming and food production ever comes in, why not a honey farm?

There's no flowers in Kenshi so why the hell would we have *CENSORED*? Completely unrealistic.

You should always proofread carefully to make sure you didn't any words out.

Mattk50, I like the way you think!

1337, what came first? The flower or the bee?

Also, the *CENSORED* could harvest sand pollen.

It's not important what came first, actual *CENSORED* can't survive without flowers. Sand pollen doesn't exist.

What is the difference between the demo and the alpha version?

The paid version isn't that different from the demo.
The only difference in the full version is that your skills/attributes can go beyond 20 and there's no limit on squad size (i think it's limited to 2 on the demo).

there's no magic in Kenshi, so no magic *CENSORED*, but mechanical one's would be ok i guess (no need for pollen and possible in Kenshi) but then there would be no meaning in farming mechanical *CENSORED*... at least not for honey lol

You should always proofread carefully to make sure you didn't any words out.

Just to add my thoughts to this inane topic; insects came first by a long margin. But *CENSORED* themselves in any resemblance to how we know them would only come AFTER the formation of flowering plants and therefore pollen. The original angiosperms would most likely have been self fertilizing and it was only until later that they may have evolved nectar to take advantage of the interest of insects. From there it was a mutual relationship and they would have developed in a parallel fashion.

Having said that mr bee dude, I am not sure I understand your peculiar brand of trolling but its quite amusing most of the time.

BEEBOTS! it's not quite real *CENSORED*, but it's close enough!

so basically, what you're trying to say, in a roundabout way, is that as soon as we have flowers in kenshi, then the game can be enriched with hundreds of glorious *CENSORED*?

(also, angiosperms... NARF!)

Well, if we get flowers then maybe *CENSORED* can start evolving. if it is a persistent world then it should only take a couple hundred thousand real life years if you speed the game up to max speed. Provided chris models this in.

Hey everyone! Bonjour! Hallo! Ola! Konnichiwa! I'm SuperHawksman and I think this game is awesome. I'm still a scholar, but in my free time I like to program games in C#/XNA.

Just bought the game. A pleasure helping such a promising project, I wish best luck to the developer with all my heart!

Just a few moments that impressed me when trying it out:

- The big battles between rival bands of desert bandits and between bandit bands and faction patrols.

- Starting out pennyless and developing the "Way of the Vulture" for survival in the harsh world: follow a patrol and pick up the scraps after a battle. Advanced Technique: lure bandits into chasing you, head to a patrol or a town, and let the guards chop them up. Help them a bit keeping yourself at the margins of the fight to start making some experience.

- Wandering around in the desert. I could almost hear the wind and the shifting of sand in my mind. Then, a settlement in the distance. A couple of wind-wheels spinning. I walked closer, until I could see a defensive wall encircling a few buildings and a water silo in the middle of the dunes: I reached Clownsteady, in the middle of the desert.

- The medical system. Carring the wounded on your shoulder to safety. Binding, staunching blood, splintering wounded limbs.

- Arriving at a new settlement and finding the bodies of a rival faction patrol lying around. Helping out the settlement soon after, when a band of bandits tries to exploit the situation and assault the weakened outpost.

- Outfitting my two character with large backpacks and starting trading for incredible profit.

- Discovering small, well-defended trading outposts in the middle of nowhere. And making scandalous deals with them, offering my wares.

- Trying the Way of the Vulture Advanced Technique leading a bandit group to a merchant caravan travelling in the desert... and discovering that merchants and their guards run away instead of dieing fighting like fools. Very sensible of them...

It is already in. If you set the game to max speed for a couple hundred thousand years *CENSORED* will start evovling.

although it is wonderful that my children's children's children will one day BEE able to play an open ended rpg featuring fully evolved *CENSORED*, what about me? i'll BEE dead BEE then.

not meaning to sound ungrateful. i am happy that the code is now in place for distant future *CENSORED*. it's a step in the right BEErection. but i can't help but feel that this important aspect of the game is BEEing swept under the carpet in favour of 'gameplay improvements' and 'graphical improvements'

give your *CENSORED* the respect they deserve with graphical enhancements. therefore they can be shown in their true colors.
