Translation not work

i translate the game to spanish and the launcher show the spanish language but the game is in english,
I created a folder in "kenshi/locale/es" in the folder es have: es-ES.translation archive and folder LC_MESSAGES in the folder LC_MESSAGES have the translated main.pot but the game still in full English
any help to figure out the problem?

Did you selected "español" in the "Language:"option(maybe translated to spanish) at the bottom of the game launcher?

Try renaming the "es-ES.translation" file to "es.translation". It needs to match the name of the folder.
In the LC_MESSAGES folders needs to have the compiled translated "main.mo" file (note that it isn't the .pot or .po file).
Also, there is issue with the library that we are using when the language id only, so I would recommend changing the language country from "es" to "es_ES" (if its Spain) to the folder (and also the .translation file)

Hi, I am translating the game into Spanish but as mod. The state os translation is already 45%, dialogues is very hard and slow.
