How would I go about making sure that I have all the permissions?? Is there a specific step I'm missing?
Normally you shouldn't need to do anything at all for it to work.
From the data you send, it's failing to create/remove folders. I'm pretty sure it's a permission thing.
Try going to the Kenshi game folder and create a new folder. See if windows lets you do it and let me know.

I was, Indeed able to make a new folder in the kenshi game folder however the game still crashes. I really hope there is a way to resolve this issue, your game is Extremely fun and I really hope I can play more of it again soon. If it help, I will also include the most recent crash log. I truly hope it helps.

It's really weird. You seem to have some issue with creating/accessing new files inside that folder.
The only reasons I can think of are: no space on your hard drive (unlikely) or the game has no system permissions to access. Try launching directly the kenshi_x64.exe (from the game folders) as an admin.
Let me know if it works.

Could it be steam that is causing issues for the game? It used to work perfectly.
I've doubt it but I worked with steam before right?AnotherWanderer wrote:Could it be steam that is causing issues for the game? It used to work perfectly.
The problem that you are having has to do with the game accessing some folders, in this case is trying to clean up the "save/current" folder (as it normally does when you start/load/import a game).
The dump that you sent doesn't explain why it crashed it just says what was trying to do.
Couple of things you could try:
- Check if you have the folder "Kenshi/save/current/" and try creating a folder there.
- Also try deleting the "save" folder
- If that still, fail you can try copying the game to other folder like "Documents" and run it from there (Just to see if works).
- Try the experimental version
- (Optional) You could try downloading the demo from the site to see if that works.
If none of those work, let me know so we can't try a different build.

I think I found the problem, Or, at least, What could be the problem. My computer wont let me delete the save file, or even the kenshi file (or any file in kenshi) Perhaps thats the problem, The game can create files it just cant delete them. I dont know how to fix this problem however, Im the only user on this laptop so I dont know why I dont have permissions on my own computer. It you have any idea how to fix this problem im more then willing to listen.
Try giving full control permission to your user:

Ive done as you suggested, Still crashes every time, I took it too geek squad, (they had no idea what they were doing) and finally they suggested that I rest my computer because steam has potentially been installed incorrectly, I did as they said, but even after all this, Im still not able to play this game, nor able to delete files in the kenshi folder. I'll admit, im at a loss for what to do next.
