i made it safly. but im basicaly with out internet. thats goona take me a bit to get. as right now im borrowing a wifi hotspot.

If you have a smartphone, you could possibly piggyback off of its internet. Either direct connection (via usb) or tethering. Just can't game with it though :cry:

thanks
wi-fi isnt the issue. its data usage. they have data caps so im stuck with the basics.
though might have satalite some time next week as thats all thats realy avilable. so for now im using the motels wi-fi on my kindle as my computer is not setup for wi-fi yet.

hopefully it should chnage next week as everyhting is getting chnaged over to the enw owners and we should have a valid postal address in a day or two.

different FX
but this time it's the power supply again. ( i think as that's what i read about the issue on several sites ) can't play many games because it causes the computer to shut down when it requests more power to play the game. thought i had a replacement but i got the wrong one. 1 to few PCI adapters for the video card. forgot to check first, now i gotta sell it before i can get another.

Yep, that sounds like PSU issue. I've had same adapter mistake a while ago, though, i'm not sure whether PC didn't started at all, or PSU got just burned down in the end. There is diffirent kind of PCI-E power extension cables on the market, btw, should look kinda like this:

Takes power from 2 molex' and routes it to single 6-8 pin socket. I'm thinking that maybe whole PSU is not an issue, and it's just too many power is being drained through a single line. Might be worth a try.

current one i have is non modular so the lines it uses are made for the power demands.
would love a modular but they add like 10 to 20% more to the price. :/

I might be mistaking, but I think each cable is still a separate line on the PSU board, even though it appear as one. But you might know better, I never had much knowledge in the PSUs departament :)

Looks like ill have my computer back up and running after four months.

Amazon expected to deliver my new motherboard on the 12th.
