Attached is the crash dump zip. There are rare occasions I can play for a few hours without incident, but most of the time I get about 10 to 15 minutes of play before the game crashes. This is my favorite game to play at the moment and it has so much potential so let me know if I can do anything to help resolve it.

Hello there, welcome to the forums!
While i can't look into your dump to try and localise the exact problem, i might suggest a list of typical solutions that helps in a lot of cases.
- First of all, try to import your game. If your game is already imported, and the version of savefile is matching version of the game, skip to the next step.
- Next thing you might want to try, if you're playing from Steam, would be validating the integrity of game's cash. Right click on Kenshi in the Library - properties - local files tab - Verify integrity. If it was unhelpfull, skip to the last step.
- Go to your Kenshi folder, delete everything EXCEPT for the save folder out of there, and redownload the entire game.
There's one more step, slightly more complicated, but that can cause certain issues.
- In the mentioned save folder, locate the folder of a savegame in question, name of the folder should match the ingame save name. Open that folder up and check it out. It sould contain following files: portrait_texture.png, quick.save, and three subfolders: characters, platoon, zone. If there's something else, like level.dat or something like that - delete it for good.
I hope any of that would help you, if not, well, let's wait for someone more competent in the game code to help you out.

Sorry my suggestions didn't helped.
Just to make sure - you have tried to start a new game, and it also crashes, right?
Also, it could be helpfull if you'd add your system specs to the first post. Nothing crazy, just the models of CPU, GPU, and amount of RAM your pc has.

I started a new game and it is more stable for now than my previous game. I should point out that I have only ever played v0.97.6 so there are no version compatibility issues between the saves. Does the game become more unstable the longer it is played? I am on day 43 with the unstable save. I have a new dump attached if that helps the devs.

Those dumps definitely helps most of the time.
Game doesn't necessarily becomes less stable as time passes, it's probably just that something got broken along the way, and now interferes with stability.
By 'more stable' you mean that it still crashes, but less so, or that it's perfectly stable so far?
Also, importing not only helps with older version saves, it's basically just a new game with an old squad, with options to import squad position, buildings and researches as well.

Ok, then it has to be something in your older savegame, rather then the game itself. I see someone has actually downloaded your dump, so let's hold tight for a qualified answer.
Meanwhile, you may try to import the older save, just out of curiosity. You can create a copy of it at the save subfolder of a Steam main folder if you like, and import that, trying various import options, to see if it helps.

dirkwasd: your crash is a terrain bug that should be fixed next update
Harrier77: Your crash is weird and indecipherable. Usually this is caused by a system issue like bad graphics drivers, running out of RAM, running out of VRAM, running out of disc space.
Try these things:
-update graphics drivers
-make sure kenshi isn't installed within either of the C:/Program files/ folders (Steam is often installed here...)
-Try cranking all the game options down really low and see what happens. Could be one particular setting that your system doesn't like

Thanks for looking at the dump. I have noticed that the crashing is usually preceded by very minor hitching (not autosave related as that is disabled) so I will try turning down the gfx settings. My drivers are the latest and my gaming SSD (B:\Kenshi\) has 23GB free. VRAM shouldn't be a problem as my card has got 6GB but I will start looking more closely at it using tools. Importing my original save as a new game did sort the crashing out for around 4 to 5 hours of gameplay but now the more I play the more frequently it crashes. I will persevere as I really enjoy thieving expensive katanas from lords and emperors lol.

The game runs smoothly until it suddenly closes with no error message or anything.
I could not see a specific reason, but as I go playing it seems to happen more often, 30-60 min.
It did not happen in past versions.
I also have some crash with log.
