why have Feature Requests?

I know mostly will say " well we need feature requests to give the devs. more idea for the game, so it has more content and other new features to it." yea, but it gives the people ideas on what to make for a mod for the game, so when that happens. The dev. wont be a able to develop and program that idea if it already a mod. I know it some what good to have it on the forums, but it can give the devs. less ideas if it already taken.

Even if a mod "steals" the idea, devs can make it into the game if they like it, their game, their rules. And honestly is all good what comes inside and outside of the forum.
Works the other way around too, if someone makes a mod that has not suggested here, they might take and implement it.

Especially since the Devs have been soo great listening to our requests.
Never felt my requests were ever heard in other games. But Kenshi Devs are the best. It's a great feeling when you see something we discussed on line show up in game.

Its a great way to show new ideas or ways to do things. The feature request is paramount for this.

Mods are for things the dev usually wont add to the game or to change base difficulty of the game that go above or below the default levels.

And some modders. Make something so great. The Dev's ask them if they can add to the base game.

So there is a place for both. As they compliment each other.
