Hit Esc, saved my game once time, clicked on the exit button and game crashes.
Crash file attached.
Now apparently it crashes upon trying to start up Kenshi, I only get the Steam box telling me it's loading, then it immediately crashes informing me to upload the crash files to this forum.
2nd crash file attached.
Game crash on exit and now crashes on start too.

Exact same thing happening to me!
Verifying finds 4 files need to be redownloaded ---> still same crash!
Uninstalled then reinstalled --> still same crash!
Downloading - Nvidia 397.31 video driver now --- hope that fixes it!

Solution for me was: (taken from my steam account)
Uninstalled (3 times by the way, that's 15GB of re-downloading can the devs send me my $0.05 for data usage. LOL Just kidding)
Removed any files left behind in the Steam Kenshi folders, including the Kenshi folder itself.
Unchecked the steam upload sync thingy where it saves your game to steam cloud
Restarted computer
Kenshi now shows me the window that allows me to choose resolution, which screen the game will be displayed on etc. (this had been removed by checking the box to not show it anymore and could be the ultimate culprit as maybe the game defaults to something other than what is shown on this window that when clicking it changes what the game uses which works for my computer *a little hard to follow me here I think*)
Game now runs.
I'm thinking that Kenshi did something funky because trying to load up Ylands game, resulted in main menu at 1FPS.
Restarting computer and now Ylands is showing at 60FPS and Kenshi runs as normal.
