Building/Deconstruct Defensive Wall Crash [0.99.28]

For some reason whenever I try to build this wall piece or deconstruct it. It crashes the executable for the game.

I assumed maybe it was a terrain bug so I deleted all the new_overlay files in the kenshi > data > newland > land > overlaymaps folder. Then verify the integrity of the game files with steam. That didn't work.

Got rid of the mod I had and that didn't work either. So I'm at a loss to what the problem is. If you can help that would be much appreciated.
