Halfway through watching it now. And I will give you the same criticism I give everyone who makes these sorts of video's, whether they be for kenshi or not.

LEARN THE GAME FIRST.

I really don't see any sort of charm in watching someone learn how to play a game from scratch. Why do I want to waste the hours of my life watching someone learn something when they claim to be showcasing it instead? The one thing Total Biscuit does right, whether you like him or hate him, is that he plays for a half hour or so beforehand and gets the basics of the game understood before he makes his viewers sit through 20 minutes of crap.

Since I gave criticism I will at least do you the service of watching the whole video; hopefully you will do everyone else the service of at least considering my criticism.

EDIT: I watched it, glad that you at least knew how to pull enemies to guards. But medical treatment? I find that video to be a little lacklustre. Well, thats my comment for the day. Enjoy.

I'm in agreement. Previews, showcases really anything but lets play's (since they show growth in knowledge) should immediately show accurately representation of the topic, to viewers. Lack of can represent the topic negatively.

Haven't watched your newer stuff just yet, wanted to fire up some of the older reviews since its been a while. But what is 'Desuria' that you refer to? Do you mean 'Desura'? While I am no master on its pronunciation I don't see where the 'ri' part in your pronunciation of 'De-soo-ri-a' comes from. Is it not 'De-soo-ra'?

Otherwise, things are good. Your videos are beginning to grow on me. While I find your style of presentation a little slow for my taste, on the whole you do a good job. Keep making vids, I love to see new indie games and you are doing a service to these developers and to the community at large who might be ignorant of whats out there (myself for example...).

While youtube hates me right now and it is taking about an hour to load the first 10 minutes of the video I must say that I like the look. Keep up this good work; you are saving me the effort of having to find indie games out there

EDIT: Hah, it is painful watching you chop down your own walls repeatedly. But you have done some playing beforehand and it is so much nicer to watch the video when you know what you are doing. Your video's are getting better and better. Thanks for this service; I might buy this game.

Looks cool.
It's funny how there are so many games out there now that have about 1% of the current potential of dwarf fortress but just feel and play so much better because it is possible to visualise things a bit better.

Also, "broximite"? Are you dyslexic or have bad eyesight or something? Most of your vids have some terrible reading/pronunciation errors. "Bauxite" ( bork site ). Yes it is a type of rock though. (aluminium ore)

otherwise, nice vid. I actually realised I hadn't subscribed to you yet. Will fix that now. Keep up the vids.
