How difficult will it be to make a character model with a mechanical arm?

I need to make a model of a person with a prosthesis instead of a hand. Of course, it would be easier to just spawn a person with a similar modification, but this is not provided for by the editor.

I tried to take the mesh of a man and put a skeleton hand for him instead of his hand. But when I try to spawn such a character - the game crashes. I know almost nothing about modding, but I really want to carry out my idea.

Thank you in advance.

we do not have the ability to add that at this time.
Do you believe the sexes should be equal?

You did not understand me correctly, or I did not correctly construct a question. I asked how difficult it would be for me, through Blender, to make such a model because I am zero in all this :)

did you read the guides/topics here about how to import your blender file to the game?
im not versed in it yet so you will have to read up on those.

What you're trying to do is definitely doable but I wouldn't recommend it for beginner to Blender and FCS in general. It requires a good understanding of mesh manipulation, UV unwrapping, texturing, rigging and weight painting. It's a bit advance for someone who's new to modding.

As usual I always recommend aspirant modders to start with something simple first just so that they can fully understand the basics. Once you've successfully created something basic and it works in game, move up in difficulty level. Going straight for your wildest dream mod on your first foray into modding is not something I would recommend.

How to import I figured it out. The problem is that the game crashes when I try to insert modified models into the game.

Thanks for the advice. I have already tried to do something small and I have succeeded in it. Just for the development of this "little" I just need this knowledge. Nowhere are there any guides on how to make the game perceive my models (it just crashes), so I ask here.
