Hello.
I am experiencing extremely low volume in-game. I am an audio engineer as day job, so I have 4 separate audio interfaces I switch between at home. This problem persists on all 4;
Sennheiser GSX 1000 (I use this for gaming)
Focusrite 18i20
UAD Apollo 16X (Line outs into a monitor controller directly into my Focals)
Motherboard Sound Card
All windows audio settings are maxed. All in game volume is maxed. I am a pretty avid gamer and never ran into an issue like this in other games. I googled the issue and found people with similar issues, but no solution. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Any help is appreciated!

I do think this is more or less 'working as expected.'
Sounds are generated at the sound source (like the foot falls of walking sounds originate at the character's feet) and so are relative to the camera position.
Zoom way in on walking people and you can hear quite well their foot falls. And know from sound alone if they are walking on dry sand or wet marsh lands.
However much of this game is played out with the camera positioned high in the sky far away form the source of sounds in the world.
And so everything will tend to be really quiet sounding from that location.
