I have an SSD mounted as the library

Code: Select all

C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam
and have all steam games including Kenshi installed in the default folder that is the above mentioned SSD.

I have no problem starting the game, none of the mods I install from the Steam Workshop have any effect on the game. I get no error messages, and the game states that the mods are loaded.

Help me debug and solve this problem please.

I'll provide any additional information upon request.

What mods are you trying to use?

And when you say the "game states that the mods are loaded", what do you mean? You talking about in the launcher? Or the in-game options menu?

Most of the time issues with mods not being loaded on Steam are a Steam problem, and restarting it and your computer usually resolve it. Though it sounds like this might be more than that, if the mods are showing up at all.

Here are the mods I am trying to use:
- Nice Map [Zones + Zone names + Roads] by Djeeshka
- Dark UI by Eldryn
- Item Grades+ Dark UI Patch by Niska24

I have verified the integrity of my game files several times, removed and reinstalled all mods, tried it one by one.

Here are some screen shots:

Have you tried any gameplay mods of any kind? Something like a game start would be easy to test for instance.

I just notice that all your mods are UI related, which could means it's a bug with the overriding of vanilla files the way they do. It's be worth testing a gameplay mod to determine if it's all mods, or only ones that are overriding vanilla files.

And if it is just those mods, it might be better to contact the authors of those mods if possible, see if they can help investigate why it's not working right.
