this Adds a new town to the Northern desert region that is called Hal. Putting it up in the case that there are some people that want another town in the current game. There should also be a wandering merchant that roams around the Northern desert, as well as increased spawns for that region. This in turn makes the region more dangerous.
This town does show up on the map as well, so you do not need to hunt it down.

I think the real question is will the city become self aware and hunt both my squad and me?

So it's called Hal... And it's in the north... If this is post-apocalyptic like I've read/heard/sort of seen first-hand (ie: the world has been reduced to desert, as it appears to be, and in most post-apocalyptic settings it seems there's cultural blending from all corners of the world-that-was), all I can think of other than what Kamos said, is Halifax (either England, Nova Scotia, PEI, or a few in the States - but my American geography is rusty, so I don't know which if any would be considered 'northern').

Going by how the regions are defined in the files. So I'm not the one to ask what the northern desert is exactly, but from the map it's that whole region north of the mountainous area. There are also the two regions below that, UC West, and UC East, I'm going to assume that UC means United Cities, but not 100% sure. Those more or less just bisect the mountain area, so you have a western section, and the eastern section.
Also The town should work like a normal town from what I've seen so far, they attack bandits when they come near, and they will run out of the town if you run towards them with a horde of bandits chasing you.

How exactly do you make a city? I want to make a fortress full of Sand Ninjas for a challenge.

Kamos: Sorry I didn't reply sooner, I'll see about writing up some sort of guide on how to do it, I know that Chris is awfully busy developing the game.
