Formally, it arose when the camera was manually moved behind the character. But, i'm not sure that the error is related to this action.

Today I have the similar crash at nothing special but without catch by VS. So I supposed that error is "handled" now. Maybe it makes sense also create crashdump than I could attach it.

First of all I appreciate your attempt to help me.

But... if you have code and have an error from the system library which tells you about buffer overrun, then, highly likely, you really made a mistake, for example, while copping a larger string to a smaller buffer. Just fix it and you won't need to reinstall Windows.

Frankly speaking I've never seen the error of this kind since posted. I suppose it has been fixed now.

At last, I have some remarks from my testings for programmers.
1. Installer states that version of vcredist_2010 in folder "dependencies" is earlier than mine (10.0.40219).
2. Latest bug I have was very close to event of reloading game from saves after Beep lost his arm. In CrashDump I had some missing objects. After CrashDump creation there was error in kenshi...exe without any entries in call stack similar to error of stack corruption.

sometimes you need to repair your windows OS. it can become corrupted.
and sometimes, errors are solely based offs the OS and requires fixing it to fix the game.
i suggest you try what the Link says to fix the issue with your OS. which could also fix the game.

I have tested Risen 3 which is also based on msvcrt100.dll. It works fine. I will not try your proposal, at least while your team is using an older version of vcredist_2010. Its your fault not mine.

Risen 3 is not Kenshi. different coding and engines. so testing it on another game means nothing.
this was a suggestion on how to try and fix your issue. which could have worked.
It might take time for the Devs to fix your specific issue. if its related to part of the game.
it never hurts to try other sources to try and fix things. that is what you came here for.
