Red Dots and Flickering Red Lines

After 2,200+ extremely satisfying hours of playing Kenshi, I've just hit a pretty much game-killing graphics bug of red dots and flickering horizontal red lines. It looks exactly like this Unreal engine bug: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrCE4Q5kgaE

Me: NVIDIA RTX2080s; i7; 32GB RAM; pagefile 40GB; playing latest STEAM version of Kenshi. Initially encountered bug using Kenshi Genesis, and 17 other mods. Disabled all mods, started new (vanilla) campaign--problem persists.

Installed latest NVIDIA driver for RTX2080s. Restarted PC, launched new game--problem persists. Loaded older campaigns; problem persists. Tried each of the two NVIDIA profiles for Kenshi (x64, x32)--problem persists.

Are there any recommended GPU settings that can resolve this bug? And/Or maybe rolling back to an older game version?
I'd thought my GPU was dying; but Fallout4 is just as crisp as ever. So am I right to assume it's an issue with more modern NVIDIA cards and OGRE engine?...which might not make sense, as all my 2.2k+ hours with Kenshi have been with this card.

Anyway, I'm jonesing massively without Kenshi. Any help most appreciated.

Only thing that comes to mind is to try this nvidia profile, see if it helps anything.

Otherwise, did you notices any changes prior to this issue? Did the game update? Or did your drivers update? Etc.

I feel like it's unlikely to be directly because of the graphics card interacting poorly with the game, as this is the first I've ever heard of someone experiencing it. Other users would be experiencing it if that were the case. So it implies it's a local issue on your end, the trick is identifying what.

The problem oddly arose shortly after downloading and installing the NVIDIA profile you mentioned: https://www.nexusmods.com/kenshi/mods/804 a few days ago. Manually installed a pair of new Starts mods at that time as well.
The profile enormously--I mean, absolutely amazingly--increased performance; but a few days later the bug arose.

Nothing else changed, as my 2,200+ hours have been played with Kenshi Genesis (8.1.4 and now 8.1.6) and 17 other mods. Exact same mods, and exact same load order. Other than Windows updates, and a Kenshi update or two, nothing else has changed.

But even after uninstalling all mods and verifying file integrity with STEAM, and starting a new vanilla campaign, the problem persisted. Then, reverting to a generic NVIDIA Kenshi profile--and installing the latest NVIDIA driver, the problem still persists.

I'm betting it's a GPU setting that needs tweaking, as FO4 still works brilliantly.

If there's any guides or threads you could steer me to, I'd be much obliged.

Unfortunately as mentioned I've never seen this reported before, so I don't have a lot I could direct you to. Best I can suggest is try tweaking the settings yourself in the Nvidia control panel. You can tweak them per game in the control panel, to avoid messing with any other games. If there is a setting that will help, it'll probably be in there somewhere.

Thank you. I'm just not sure which settings would or could make a difference, as it exceeds my knowledge base.

Update: the bug has now completely disappeared. I've restarted the game 3+ times, using the last "corrupted" save, and it's back to normal. Even rebooted the PC twice.

I've not re-installed SCARaw's NVIDIA profile https://www.nexusmods.com/kenshi/mods/804?tab=bugs and instead am using the stock NVIDIA x64 profile for Kenshi. Dunno if that's a causitive factor or not. I'll keep playing for a while with the current setting, and then re-install SCARaw's profile later as an experiment.
