Kenshi 2 Announced

After 2 years of development, 3 videos(1 sky, 2 a monster, 3 a chair) and 5 screenshot of artwork... I think im so old to not see this project be completed. 14 years for kenshi 1 right? sigh....

I really hope he releases it into early access this year. Let the fans help fund a great game that way.

The devs seem pretty optimistic about timeline. I'd guess lower single digit years. (Note: This is just speculation though, I have no actual information on it)

Early access is also somewhat unlikely. The funding is not needed, and there is often a stigma on such games, not to mention it making development longer and more difficult.

Kenshi 1 was programmed by one person alone. I read something about over 1 million sales. So a few million dollars have already been earned. A few more people are working on Kenshi 2 now. So hopefully it will go faster.

it is still several year's away before reaching release state, which is slated for beta access.
so an estimated 2 to 4 more year's at least.

they do post some news on the steam announcement's forum area. but nothing yet related to game play or any feature's. they have posted mostly just pre alpha tests of character models and renditions of upgraded character models
