Hi,
So I'm seeing some odd AI/Logic bugs in playing the game, and had a couple of suggestions, that'd make things a bit easier.
Bugs:-
1) Characters Manning Mounted Crossbows, before save, are standing outside of the walls, after reload (seems easily reproducible)
2) Characters with Jobs elsewhere, seem unable to climb stairs, to perform jobs upstairs, and will walk in circles at the base of the stairs until you disable jobs, and/or tell them to walk to the top of the stairs before continuing on (seems easily reproducible).
3) Odd Wall gaps. When you build a wall, sometimes Bandits can simply walk through between 2 sections. Seems fixible by save/reload. Hard to reproduce, but happens often.
4) Some walls don't have turrent mounts. It seems fairly random when placing walls, as to whether when built, you can place crossbows. Often I have to build the wall, demolish, build again, and hope to get the mounts 2nd time lucky.
Feature Suggestions:-
1) Engineering Priority. When there are lots of pending Engineering tasks, anyone assigned the Engineering job, seems to randomly pick which task to work on next. Would be good if you could group Engineering tasks into priority, so (for example) the Engineer focused on Walls, before building more storage barrels.
2) Storage Priority. It would be good to be able to favour one storage location over another, as often it seems to pick my 'safe room' storage, over the main storage, so I have to keep my 'safe room' locked, to avoid characters trying to use storage in it.
2b) Perhaps limiting the Storage in a location, so its considered full, at 10% of maximum capacity, so the logic doesn't consider it as an alternative.
3) Unable to repair partially damaged walls. The only way to repair damaged walls, seems to be to destroy and rebuild them.
4) When ordering characters to move, it would be useful if you could assign intermediate waypoints, as often the shortest route is dangerous.
5) It would also be good to be able to see the path a character is about to take for their next task.
Regards,
Si
