Alternative to multiplayer - Kenshi/Kenshi 2

Since I know multiplayer might not be an option that keeps Kenshi as immersive for players, a possible "next best option" might be a system similar to Dragon's Dogma's pawn system. Its not multiplayer, but it allows people to recruit other people's created characters. This allows players to connect to others in some fashion even if they aren't able to play together.

If anyone who is reading this wants feedback or more full explanation of the concept, let me know!

This is an interesting idea, but doesn't feel scalable yea? Don't think its very easy for the average player to make a mod. That plus its not the same concept as the pawn system where anyone can make a player and add them to the recruitment pool; your friends would have to make a character, then make a mod, add it to the workshop. After that, you'd have to add it from the workshop. And this would have to be done every time a new character is created vs. just having a pool that anyone can add to ( pawn system is basically a pool of all player created characters that you can just recruit or dismiss )

would be about the only option since neither game is gonna support that.
we got great modding tools but they are still limited.
