Shopping options unclickable

I've been playing since April 4th, but yesterday I encountered an issue with my shops. They're not allowing me to select options:

When I enter the shop and talk to the NPC, the options are:

Trade
Don't Trade
However, when the trade dialogue box opens, I get stuck and all I can do is press ESC to try to reload and attempt shopping again. Sometimes, using the keyboard numbers (1 or 2) works, but it's only about a 1/10 chance of success, which makes the game unplayable. I've tried reinstalling the game and resetting all configurations, but it's still not working.

Using the mouse never worked, only the keyboard but its a mess I need to try it so many times (loading saved games before clicking talk to npc)

I just got approached by a bandit and their menu still has the same issue... So its about all dialogues box...

Check your keybindings. In the past this has occurred when a player unbound the "select" key from their mouse button. For some reason this also causes the number keys to not function in dialog.
