Can't run game without crashing

The 0.22 update was fine, I could run that all well. Then the first time I updated to .23 it crashes after startup. When I run Kenshi, it first runs, the .23 launcher, after hitting ok, it launches the .22 launcher. hitting ok at that screen crashes it.

I tried uninstalling, repatching it from .22 and this time it only had the .23 launcher, launches and successfully goes into menu screen, but clicking any button hangs and crashes. New Game, Load, etc. None of them work.

I just tried the patch to .24 today and it does the same thing that happened in the first instance, it runs the .24 launcher followed by the .22 then crashes.

That being said, I haven't found this bug on the forums yet so I don't know what's the issue. Firewall is on game mode to allow updating.

Also, could it be possible for a new version to be released every once in a while instead of having to redownload .22 and updating from there? I think the patcher might be the issue since running Kenshi has it run the patcher and core at once, and I think they're conflicting. (2nd attempt from .22-.23 update I ran ONLY the wypatcher.exe).

Do you have a crash dump?
You could try downloading the demo on desura, that will install differently.
What happens if you just run _core.exe?
