Did you try letting them go (click somewhere past the rocks and wait). Sometimes they start going to the opposite direction but end up coming back on their own. Seems like a pathfinding problem anyway
You should always proofread carefully to make sure you didn't any words out.
Need help? pm me or any other mod.

Yeah i tried but they go all the way up the mountain and then keep going the other way. It's a pathfinding problem, yeah..but also, shouldn't rocks not block town gates?

actually just going around the world now i'm noticing many many rocks placed in weird ways, often blocking way into buildings and so. are they randomly placed or the same for everyone?

They're procedurally placed, so they are randomly scattered but the same for everyone. Looks like I forgot to keep the foliage from spawning in towns.

Sorry to bring topic again but I see a possible error.Chris_The_Great wrote:They're procedurally placed, so they are randomly scattered but the same for everyone. Looks like I forgot to keep the foliage from spawning in towns.
On my map there are no rocks blocking any entrances, in any town's, east of the beginning town 'Brink', including the one east of 'Trader's Edge', named 'Tebooze(?)'. Infact I found only one rock near an entrance, which was located in the town 'Port South(?)' which is south of the main town 'Brink'.
I know by experiance that the developer of any program will have the most accurate information about the program in question but I must challange this fact because the generation on the map I'm playing, based off this information is diffearent from the generation on UndefinedM's map.
I purpose that some players, *take a screenshot of the beginning town noting the east side of the city where rocks are most probably to spawn. Based off these screenshots we can conclude if they are identicle generation. Which can be more conclusive then looking at the code in some cases.

Sure, sure seems simply enough even though one simple glare at the mountain made me understand instant our landscapes is very far from each other I have very little big rocks im compare. Took some time to do take this picture though as I had to to venture from the far south and once i reached the gates understand it was a city beloning to a faction I was hostile to... Poor fools, they didn't stand even the slightsest of chance. Took the gate even before reinforcement had time to run halfway across the city... Anyway two pictures, one to show of same location with a diffrent angle, second to warn you of quicksand... No rocks were harmed.

The rocks in your image look the same, when i look in the same angle. But your color's all wierd, there is a odd glare/shadow like effect going on. Try changing sRGB Gamma Conversion to No.gusmil wrote:Sure, sure seems simply enough even though one simple glare at the mountain made me understand instant our landscapes is very far from each other I have very little big rocks im compare. I also went back to Port South(?) and noticed the rock that was near the gate is gone, I cannot find rocks near any gates now. Possibly a glitch there, but rock generation is all the same for us which is what I was interested in and as Chris said it is.

Oh yea I missed those ones. On that one side of the cliff we have the exact same rocks, but the other is very diffearent as well around the buildings. This means generation of rocks are the same generally, but have variation. The variation is what seems to have cause the entrance blocking since its not constant in any town's (through my own observations). Chris already replied earlier and I assume that foilage not spawning within cities would fix this issue despite the variation.

Evidently I have a bug to fix.
That weird shadow-looking effect in the screens is how the game looks on ATI cards. I have no idea why, because I didn't program it to do that, but it looks all right.
